This little red, cream and blue weather vane chicken(well, rooster actually) is the perfect artifact from just about every country home in the 80s.
There is even a mauve bow thrown in at the top for good measure!
It is a quilted piece with sewing around the chicken print on the fabric, and the eyelet lace is glued on around the edge.
The small pattern on the fabric is made up of tiny cherries. Awww.
This looks like one of those bag craft kits that were popular at the time.
It is in a Yaley 9" embroidery hoop.
Perfect for that Country Home or farmhouse decor!
In overall good condition, a small hole in the wood hoop on the bottom left and some minor age discoloration, and the bow is a bit frayed.
