This is an authentic banjo style hardwood(oak?) Airguide from the early 1970s, measuring with barometer, temperature and hygrometer.
The temperature gauge still works perfectly(was spot on with our thermostat), and the rest seem to work great too!
The coverings on the barometer/hygrometer are real glass, and the temp gauge is mounted on brushed aluminum.
It is a nice large size, measuring 20.5" long, 6 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" thick.
There is a hole for easy hanging on the neck.
These are some of the most sought after vintage weather stations around!
The company was founded in Chicago in 1930, sold off in 1976, and operated in various forms until the year 2000.
It is in remarkably wonderful condition, with only a few very minor dings and some patina on the brass around the bottom of the barometer.
It would look splendid in your vintage modern home.
