This super fabulous example of a 1940s Western Electric F1 rotary phone would make a PERFECT play prop, or if restored could be a great landline phone.
It displays its original old school phone number, HI 4-8053. Rad.
It has not been tested, as the cord is cut. A new plug would need to be put on.
Both the handset and the body are bakelite.
The handset reads:
Western Electric Company
The dial face is a nice bright white with black letters and dark red numbers.
I have cleaned and dusted it to a nice shine, and there is only minimal wear on the phone-it is in excellent condition!
It has a SUPER long cord, so it would be perfect onstage or anywhere a long cord is required. :)
The base measures 5" tall, 5 1/4" wide and 7 1/2" long.
The handset measures "long, " wide and " thick.
The handset cord is 3'6", and the wall cord is approx. 24' long!
